Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area

Overseen by the National Park Service the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area extends from Mugu Lagoon to West Hollywood.
The park is actually composed of several state parks, federal land and is has many pockets of private land within it's boundaries.
It's a great local place to go Hiking, Mountain Biking or hang out on one of the Beaches
