Jolly Jump: A bounce house; a large, enclosed, inflatable structure that children can jump in; the name of the company that rents these units for events.
El Tec: Short for El Tecolote, a Mexican restaurant
The Boulevard: usually referring to Ventura Boulevard in Old Town
The Grade: the Conejo Grade on the 101 freeway between Camarillo and Thousand Oaks
Norwegian Grade: an alternative, back road option to get to Thousand Oaks
TO: short for Thousand Oaks, a common term for this area in southern California
The 101, The 405, etc.: Freeways in Southern California are usually just known by their numbers. Nobody calls them "interstates".
PCH: Pacific Coast Highway; Highway 1 that runs along the beach.
