Lewis Road was historically a farm road, famous for local produce stands, and has been widened in recent years to accommodate heavier traffic. Lewis Road begins at the intersection of Upland Road/ Las Posas Road and Somis Road/ Lewis Road. It runs along the edge of Mission Oaks and generally south-west past CSUCI to Potrero Road, where it turns into Hueneme Road.
